About YunoHost
YunoHost turns a server into a managed personal hosting platform: it sets up mail, DNS, certificates, users and a single sign-on portal, then installs applications from a catalogue of several hundred packages. Administration happens in a web panel or a command line, and the project handles backups and upgrades for packaged apps.
Strengths
- Single sign-on, mail and certificates configured for every app it installs
- Catalogue of several hundred packaged applications with upgrade paths
Limitations
- Built on Debian and expects to own the whole machine
- Apps outside the catalogue have to be installed by hand and lose the integration
