About AdGuard Home
AdGuard Home is a DNS server that routes tracking domains to a black hole for every device on the network. It comes as one executable with a web interface, so setup is closer to running a program than to following an installation script.
Where it clearly beats the alternatives is encrypted DNS: it can act as a DNS-over-HTTPS, DNS-over-TLS and DNS-over-QUIC server itself, so phones configured to use it are protected off the home network too. Per-client rules, parental controls and safe search are built in.
