About Alexandrite
Alexandrite is an alternative web front end for Lemmy, the federated link aggregator and discussion platform. It is designed for desktop screens first, laying out feeds, posts and comments to make use of a wide browser window rather than a mobile-style column.
It is written in Svelte and ships with a Dockerfile, so you can run your own copy alongside or separate from a Lemmy server. It suits Lemmy users who spend most of their time on a computer and find the default interface cramped.
