About Ampache
Ampache is a web-based audio and video streaming application and file manager that you run on your own server. Its web interface lets you browse and manage a music collection, and it can synchronise local and remote catalogs into one collection.
Music can be played in the browser with an HTML5 player, streamed to your preferred player, or controlled through Localplay. Compatible client apps let you listen from phones, tablets and televisions. The project has been free and open source since 2001.
