About Anki
Anki is the reference implementation of spaced repetition. Each card is shown at an interval based on how well you recalled it last time, so material you know well is shown rarely and material you keep failing comes back tomorrow. That is why medical and language students live in it.
Cards can hold text, images, audio, video, LaTeX and code, shared decks cover most popular subjects, and add-ons extend almost everything. Syncing through AnkiWeb is free, as are the desktop apps and the Android app; the iOS app is a one-off purchase that funds the project.
