About BetterDisplay
BetterDisplay extends what macOS lets you do with displays. It offers flexible HiDPI scaling, XDR and HDR extra brightness, extra dimming, image adjustments with custom 3D LUTs, virtual screens, picture-in-picture, display arrangement, DDC and HDMI-CEC control of external monitors, and EDID overrides.
Version 5.0.6 supports macOS 27 and macOS 26, while older versions remain available for earlier macOS releases back to Mojave. The GitHub repository hosts the releases but not the source code.
