About calcurse
calcurse keeps track of events, appointments and tasks in a curses interface in the terminal. It handles all-day events, recurring appointments and TODO items, and a configurable notification system can send mail or run other commands before deadlines.
A non-interactive command-line mode filters and formats appointments for use in scripts, and hooks can run scripts when data is loaded or saved, for example to keep the calendar under version control. CalDAV sync with other devices is available but marked experimental.
