About Chameleon

Chameleon is a WebExtension port of Random Agent Spoofer, an older Firefox add-on. Its interface is close to the original, and it keeps most of that add-on's features. It changes the browser profile and user agent that websites see, which makes browser fingerprinting less reliable.

It suits Firefox users who want finer control over what their browser reveals about itself than the built-in privacy settings give them. The project is developed in public on GitHub, with more than 1,400 commits.
