About cool-retro-term
cool-retro-term is a working terminal emulator whose main feature is its appearance: it recreates the glow, curvature and colours of old cathode-ray displays. Built-in profiles include amber and green phosphor looks as well as styles modelled on old computers such as an IBM DOS screen.
It is built with Qt and QML on top of the qmltermwidget terminal component, and packaging includes a Snap for Linux. It suits people who want a nostalgic terminal for fun, demos or screenshots rather than a minimal daily driver.
