Devin CLI is a coding agent you run from the terminal on your own machine. It reads and changes code in a local project, can start subagents, and can hand a task off to Devin Cloud to continue there. The documentation also covers model selection, a sandbox mode, SSH use, and connecting it to JetBrains IDEs and Zed through the Agent Client Protocol.
It installs with a shell script on macOS, Linux and WSL, with Homebrew on macOS, or with a PowerShell script or installer on Windows. It is also bundled with Devin Desktop.
