About Junie
Junie is an AI coding agent from JetBrains. It runs as a command-line tool, inside JetBrains IDEs and Android Studio, as a GitHub Action on issues and pull requests, and in GitLab CI/CD on issues and merge requests. It uses the IntelliJ IDEA engine for code intelligence.
A plan mode writes structured requirements, design and delivery stages to editable files in .junie/plans before changing code, so you can approve or redirect the work. You can bring your own key for more than ten models and plan with a strong model while implementing with a faster one.
