About Dexed
Dexed is an FM synthesizer plugin in VST, AU and LV2 formats for Windows, macOS and Linux. Its sound engine is closely modelled on the original DX7, and all 144 DX7 parameters are available from one panel and can be automated in a DAW.
It loads and saves DX7 and TX7 sysex programs and fully supports sysex input and output, so it also works as a patch editor and librarian for a hardware DX7. Microtuning and MPE support came from the Surge Synthesizer team. It is released under the GPL v3.
