About Doom Emacs
Doom Emacs is a configuration framework layered on top of GNU Emacs. Instead of building an Emacs setup from scratch, you install Doom and enable the modules you want for languages, tools and editing styles, and it manages the packages behind them.
It comes with a command-line tool for installing and syncing packages, built-in documentation and profiles. The project notes that doomemacs.org is its only official domain and that doomemacs.com is not associated with it. It suits developers who want the power of Emacs without spending weeks writing their own configuration.
