About Ement.el
Ement.el is a client for the Matrix chat network that lives inside GNU Emacs. Rooms and conversations open as Emacs buffers, so reading and replying to messages uses the same editor, keybindings and workflow as the rest of your work.
It is a community project published under the GPL-3.0 on GitHub, with regular commits and tagged releases. It suits people who already spend most of their day in Emacs and want Matrix there too, rather than in a separate app. You need a Matrix account on any homeserver.
