About FeatherPad
FeatherPad is a small plain-text editor for Linux built with Qt. It does not depend on any particular desktop environment, so it fits equally well on a full desktop or a minimal window manager setup.
It supports drag and drop, including detaching and reattaching tabs, is aware of X11 virtual desktops (reusing tabs on the current desktop but opening a new window on another), and offers a search bar that can be kept permanently visible. It suits people who want a quick editor for notes, configuration files and light code editing without the weight of an IDE.
