Files by Google is a file manager for Android phones built around storage cleanup. It suggests things to remove, such as unused apps, large or duplicate files and low-resolution videos, and replaces folder browsing with filters that group images, videos and documents.
It can send files directly to people nearby without using mobile data, with transfers that are encrypted. Selected files can also be backed up to Google Drive or another cloud storage app installed on the phone.
