About Fluent Bit
Fluent Bit reads telemetry from sources such as log files, processes it and sends it to other systems. It handles logs, metrics and traces, with built-in enrichment, buffering and stream processing. It supports OpenTelemetry natively, with OTLP ingestion and delivery.
Pipelines are defined in YAML as inputs, processors and outputs. It is designed for cloud and container environments but also runs on-premises. Releases are regular; version 5.1.2 came out in September 2026.
