About Foreman
Foreman lets system administrators provision servers on bare metal and many virtual and cloud providers, including Amazon EC2, Google Compute Engine, OpenStack, Libvirt, oVirt and VMware. It includes an external node classifier, parameters and report monitoring for Puppet and Salt, and a dashboard that shows which hosts are healthy and which are outdated.
Work can be scripted through a RESTful API or the Hammer CLI. Access is controlled with role-based permissions, and existing LDAP or FreeIPA directories can be used for authentication.
