About Uyuni

Uyuni is a configuration and infrastructure management server for tens to thousands of Linux machines. It deploys patches and packages from software channels you assign, provisions hardened OS templates onto bare metal, virtual machines or containers, and keeps compliance and audit reports of hardware and software changes.

The Uyuni Server acts as a full Salt master, so clients are registered and managed through the Salt configuration management system. It can manage machines in your own data center, in third-party data centers or in the public cloud. Release 2026.08 is current.
