About Gearsystem
Gearsystem is a cross-platform emulator for the Sega Master System, Game Gear and SG-1000, written in C++. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux and BSD, and is also available as a RetroArch core.
Besides playing games, it includes a debugger for inspecting how software runs, plus an embedded MCP server that lets AI tools interact with the emulator. It suits both players and homebrew or reverse-engineering hobbyists.
