GitHub Copilot for Xcode adds GitHub's AI coding assistant to Apple's Xcode for Swift, Objective-C, iOS and macOS development. It provides code completions, chat, code review and Next Edit Suggestions.
In Agent Mode it can edit files directly, run terminal commands, search the codebase and create files and directories. It also supports the MCP Registry and Copilot Vision. The extension is MIT-licensed, but using it requires GitHub Copilot access, which is moving to usage-based billing.
