About Globus Connect Personal
Globus Connect Personal lets a personal computer take part in the Globus research data service. Once installed, the computer becomes a Globus collection, so data can be moved to and from campus clusters, cloud storage and other Globus collections.
Transfers are managed by the Globus service, which handles authentication and retries, so large jobs can be started and left to finish without supervision. It is available for macOS 10.13 or later, current Windows versions and common x86 Linux distributions, and suits researchers whose institutions already use Globus.
