About JOSM
JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap Editor) is a desktop editor for OpenStreetMap data. It loads GPX tracks, background imagery and OSM data from local and online sources. You can edit nodes, ways and relations along with their metadata tags.
It runs on Java 11 or newer and is distributed as a Web Start file with monthly automatic updates, a cross-platform JAR, Windows installers, a Microsoft Store package and a macOS app. It suits regular OpenStreetMap contributors doing detailed or large-scale editing.
