About Kinopio
Kinopio is a web canvas where you tap anywhere to create a card, then drag connections between related ideas. It works for mind maps, mood boards, whiteboards, research and plain notes. Boxes group cards together, and lists stack cards vertically for Kanban-style planning.
Other features include backlinked tags, links between spaces, code blocks, images and PDFs on cards, freehand drawing, comments, group workspaces, import and export, and a public API. It works offline and has quick-capture browser extensions. The free tier covers 100 cards and needs no sign-up.
