About LK8000
LK8000 is navigation software for soaring and free flight. It is aimed at glider and paraglider pilots who want a moving map and flight information in the cockpit, running on their own device rather than a dedicated commercial instrument.
The project is developed by volunteers and the source code is published on GitHub. At the time of writing the project website is offline after a hosting migration, and the team is asking for volunteers to help rebuild it. The forum and GitHub repository remain the places to follow development.
