About Windy
Windy is a worldwide animated weather map used in the browser. It shows weather radar, wind and wave forecasts through easy-to-switch layers, plus detailed forecasts for a chosen spot. Forecast models include ECMWF, GFS, NAM and NEMS.
For pilots it provides METAR, TAF and NOTAMs for airports worldwide, and SYNOP reports from weather stations and buoys are also available. It suits kiters, surfers, paragliders, pilots, sailors and anyone planning outdoor activities around the weather.
