About Longhorn
Longhorn adds replicated persistent block storage to a Kubernetes cluster, which is useful on clusters that are not hosted by a cloud provider and have no storage built in. It is deployed into the cluster and managed through a free web interface.
It offers incremental snapshots and backups that can keep volume data inside or outside the cluster, scheduled backups, and disaster recovery volumes in another cluster that you can fail over to. It suits people running their own Kubernetes clusters, including home labs, who want storage without an external array.
