About LXQt
LXQt is a desktop environment built on Qt that aims to stay light on resources while providing a panel, file manager (pcmanfm-qt), settings tools and session management. Its components are modular, so parts can be used on their own or combined with other software.
Since version 2.3.0 the Wayland session is no longer marked experimental, and it can run on compositors such as Labwc, Niri and Hyprland. LXQt is the default desktop of Lubuntu and is packaged by many distributions.
