About LXTerminal
LXTerminal is a terminal emulator built with GTK and the VTE terminal widget, developed as part of the LXDE desktop. It supports multiple tabs and is desktop-independent, with no unnecessary dependencies.
To reduce memory use and improve performance, all open terminal windows share a single process. It suits older hardware and minimal Linux desktops where a simple, light terminal is preferred over a feature-heavy one.
