About macmon
macmon is a performance monitor for Macs with Apple Silicon chips from M1 to M5. It reads CPU, GPU and Neural Engine power usage, temperatures and memory statistics in real time, the same data powermetrics exposes, but without needing root.
It runs as a terminal interface, can serve metrics as JSON or in Prometheus format, and is also available as a Rust library. It suits Mac users who want quick power and thermal readings from the command line.
