About mi

mi is a long-running general-purpose text editor for macOS with a Japanese interface and documentation. The current version, 3.9.6, was released in September 2026 together with a 3.10 beta, and runs on macOS 11.5 Big Sur or later as a universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel.

The editor can be extended with tools, and the developer provides a custom GPT that helps generate them. An App Store edition is planned for version 3.11. Older versions remain available for download.
