About Microsoft SNDS
Smart Network Data Services (SNDS) gives email senders data about the reputation of individual IP addresses at Outlook.com, so they can keep mailing lists clean and spot unusual behaviour from IPs they control. It also includes the Junk Email Reporting Program, which sends reports when users mark your messages as junk.
A new portal replaced the previous site in 2026. You log in to use it, and network access expires ten months after approval, so periodic reattestation is required.
