About MilkyTracker
MilkyTracker is a music tracker modelled on FastTracker II, where songs are built from patterns of notes and effects played by sampled instruments. It aims for compatibility with the FastTracker II format and workflow, making it a common choice for composing and editing module music.
Version 1.05, released in November 2024, added a cleaner interface, a built-in beta synthesizer called MilkySynth with FM and single or multi-cycle waveform modes, and new sample-editor effects including reverb, flanger and delay, a 90s-style timestretch and a gritty filter. The classic interface can still be enabled in the settings.
