About Mimestream
Mimestream is a Mac email client designed around Gmail rather than generic IMAP. It talks to Gmail through the Gmail API, which lets it support Gmail features directly: inbox categories, colour-coded labels, server-side filters and Gmail-backed search.
It can respond to calendar invitations and show your Google or Apple calendars alongside the invite, and displays Google or Apple Contacts profile photos. It requires macOS 12 Monterey or newer and is offered with a free trial.
