About MailMate
MailMate is an IMAP email client for macOS built around extensive keyboard control. Messages can be composed in Markdown, and searches support advanced conditions, drill-down search links and equally detailed smart mailboxes. It also handles signatures automatically and supports OpenPGP and S/MIME encryption and signing, tagging, several notification methods and alternative viewer layouts including a widescreen layout.
It integrates with third-party applications such as BusyContacts. Version 2.0 is in beta, with a new release posted in 2025, and it requires macOS 10.12 or later.
