About Naemon
Naemon is a monitoring engine based on the Nagios 4 core, with bug fixes, new features and performance improvements. It checks hosts, services and applications and shows the state of your network.
Nagios puts everything from the interface to the check scheduler in one package. Naemon splits the suite into separate modules instead. It is built by the community rather than a company, and it suits Nagios users who want a maintained drop-in successor.
