About Net-SNMP
Net-SNMP implements SNMP v1, v2c and v3 over IPv4 and IPv6. Its command-line tools read data from devices (snmpget, snmpwalk, snmptable), change settings (snmpset), summarise status (snmpdf, snmpstatus) and translate MIB OIDs (snmptranslate).
The suite also includes the snmpd agent, the snmptrapd daemon for receiving and logging notifications, and a Tk/Perl graphical MIB browser called tkmib. It suits administrators monitoring routers, servers and UPS devices from scripts or a terminal.
