NickelMenu

About NickelMenu
NickelMenu adds custom entries to menus in Nickel, the reading software on Kobo e-readers. Built-in actions control Nickel itself or start external software such as alternative readers. You install it by copying a single KoboRoot.tgz file to the device over USB, then write a plain-text config file to set up the menu items.
It needs firmware 4.6 or later, has been tested on 4.20 to 4.31, and stays in place across firmware upgrades. A failsafe removes it automatically if a fatal error occurs. It does not currently work with firmware 5.x.
