About Plato
Plato is an alternative document reader for Kobo e-readers. It is installed onto the device and works with Kobo firmware 4.6 and later (any 4.X.Y firmware with X of 6 or higher). It is written in Rust and uses a MuPDF wrapper for rendering documents.
The repository ships its own fonts, icons and keyboard layouts, and includes a guide, a manual and build instructions, plus a script for running it in an emulator during development. It suits Kobo owners who want a different reading interface from the one Kobo provides.
