About OpenRailwayMap

OpenRailwayMap is an OpenStreetMap-based project that draws a map of the world's railway infrastructure. It runs in the browser as an interactive map with a legend, so you can pan around and read what each line and symbol means. Permalinks let you share a particular view.

The interface is translated into many languages. Because the data comes from OpenStreetMap, the map is only as complete as local mapping, and corrections are made by editing OpenStreetMap itself. It suits rail enthusiasts, OpenStreetMap mappers and anyone curious about how rail networks are laid out.
