About Oracle SQL Developer
Oracle SQL Developer is a Java-based desktop IDE for Oracle Database, on premises or in Oracle Cloud. It covers PL/SQL development, a worksheet for running queries and scripts, a DBA console, a reports interface and a full data modeling tool.
It can also migrate third-party databases to Oracle. The same tooling is available as an extension for VS Code, as the SQLcl command line and as Database Actions in the browser. It suits developers and administrators who work mainly with Oracle Database.
