About SQuirreL SQL
SQuirreL SQL is a graphical SQL client written in Java. Because it connects through JDBC, it works with almost any relational database that ships a JDBC driver, and a plugin system adds database-specific features. Its SQL editor is based on RSyntaxTextArea.
Version 5.1.0 adds options such as rerunning SQL results automatically on a timer, running bookmarks from the editor, executing SQL across multiple sessions, exporting to existing Excel files and stronger encryption for stored alias passwords. Regular snapshot builds are published alongside stable releases.
