About Persepolis

Persepolis is a graphical front end to aria2 written in Python. Its headline feature is multi-segment downloading with as many as sixty-four connections, which makes a real difference on a server that throttles each connection rather than each user.

Downloads can be queued, scheduled to run at a set time and told to shut the machine down afterwards. It also pulls video from YouTube and similar sites, and there are browser extensions for Firefox and Chrome that hand downloads to it.
