About Pleco
Pleco is a Chinese reference app built around a collection of licensed dictionaries from publishers such as Oxford, Brill and FLTRP. Words can be looked up by drawing characters, pointing the camera at text, or tapping words in documents and web pages.
It includes native-speaker audio for 34,000 Mandarin words, Cantonese support, animated stroke order diagrams and a customisable flashcard system that takes cards from dictionary entries or imported lists. On Android a floating screen reader button looks up words in any app. Some dictionaries and features are sold separately.
