About Relax-and-Recover
Relax-and-Recover (ReaR) is a set-up-and-forget disaster recovery tool for Linux. It builds a bootable rescue system, on a USB stick or as an ISO image, so a machine with a broken disk or unbootable system can be restored to bare metal.
It supports many backup methods, including Borg, Bacula, Bareos, Duplicity, block device cloning with dd and several commercial products. A home user can recover a single computer, and data centres can collect small ISO images on a central server and connect ReaR to existing backup and monitoring systems.
