About Scribe

Scribe is an alternative front end for Medium. It fetches articles and shows them on a plain page of its own, so you read the content without loading Medium's site. The project keeps a list of public instances run by others, and the author encourages people to deploy their own.

It is written in Crystal with the Lucky framework. Deployment needs some familiarity with running a web server; the main instance runs on Ubuntu, and a community-maintained Dockerfile is included but not officially supported.
