About Sigal

Sigal is a simple static gallery generator written in Python. You point it at a folder of pictures and videos. It walks the directories recursively and writes a set of HTML pages built from Jinja2 templates, which you can then upload to any web server.

Because the output uses relative links and is plain static files, the finished gallery is portable and needs no database or server-side code. It suits people who want to publish albums on their own site without running a photo server.
