About Signal CLI REST API
Signal CLI REST API wraps signal-cli in a small dockerized REST API. After registering and verifying a phone number through the API, scripts, home automation systems and monitoring tools can send and receive Signal messages with simple HTTP requests.
It is run with Docker or Docker Compose and is widely used, with frequent commits. It suits self-hosters who want alerts and notifications delivered to Signal instead of email or a commercial push service.
