About MollySocket

MollySocket lets the Molly Signal client receive message notifications through UnifiedPush instead of Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging. You run it on your own server, where it watches for new Signal messages and wakes the app on your phone through your chosen UnifiedPush distributor.

It is written in Rust and ships with container files, a docker-compose example, systemd service files, Kubernetes manifests and reverse proxy samples. It suits people running de-Googled Android phones who want timely Signal notifications without keeping a constant connection open from the phone.
