About SimpleWMIView
SimpleWMIView lets you choose a WMI namespace and class, or type a full WQL query, and displays the result as a table. Through WMI you can list processes, services, drivers, user accounts, network shares, startup programs, printers, installed updates and other hardware and system details.
It can query remote computers configured for WMI, export results to text, CSV, tab-delimited, HTML or XML, and run fully from the command line, including output to stdout. Some queries return more data when run as administrator.
Strengths
- Runs any WMI class or WQL query without scripting
- Queries remote computers on the network
- Command-line export for scripts and inventories
- 32-bit and 64-bit builds for Windows XP to Windows 11
Limitations
- Assumes familiarity with WMI classes and namespaces
- Remote queries need the target configured to accept WMI requests
